Visitors' Days Registration Forms

Twice a year we open up the site to the public and invite you to come and see Camp Artaban and its surroundings on Gambier Island. The price includes the return boat trip between Horseshoe Bay and Camp Artaban. Also, this year, lunch is on us! We book the Kona Winds out of Horseshoe Bay and we will all have a lovely day at camp.

Visitors' Day One is typically on or around Canada Day, usually before the campers are in session. Go swimming or canoeing, take a tour, reminisce or just relax.

Visitors' Day Two is in early August during our Fine Arts session and you will be able to attend the musical that campers have been preparing all week.

To register, please download a Visitors' Day Registration form. We will meet at Horseshoe Bay Government Wharf at 9:30am and you will be back by about 4pm the same day.

The Vibe

Please come join us monthly at Holy Trinity Church, located in South Granville at 12th and Hemlock (one block east of Granville Steet) in Vancouver for a time of singing a socializing. We meet upstairs in the main sanctuary. The service is modelled after our chapel services at camp for that year-round fix of camp. The music is the same style, with many of the same songs, and we even have a speaker each month.

The Vibe is open to all so please mark the date on your calendar and come on out. We generally meet on the second Sunday of each month but check this site just to be sure, as any exceptions will be posted in advance. 2008 Vibes are scheduled for 7pm on the following Sundays: January 13, February 10, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, November 9, December 14.

Cream Tea

This event is open to all and is geared towards our more senior supporters. We will meet at St. Augustine's Church on Hudson Street in Vancouver from 1:30 to 3:30pm, Saturday, March 8, 2008 and will have lots of goodies available with prizes, a bake sale, etc. The cost for this event is $5 per person.

Annual General Meeting

As an incorporated non-profit society, Camp Artaban Society holds a general meeting each calendar year and not longer than 15 months apart. All members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Annual reports are being mailed to all members and year-end financial statements will be available to members at the meeting or in advance by request. Please contact our office if you interested in becoming a member of the Camp Artaban Society. The next annual general meeting will be held at 10am, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at St. Catherine's Church, 1058 Ridgewood Drive, North Vancouver.

Camp Artaban Sunday

For Artaban Sunday bulletins, please click on the appropriate links for either the letter sized bulletin (8 1/2 x 11) or legal sized bulletin (8 1/2 x 14).

Churches around the Diocese celebrate Artaban and talk about how they can be involved with this outreach to children, youth and families. Please download the appropriate bulletin for your church's insert that Sunday.
