Visitors' Day Registration Form

Every year, we open the site to the public and invite you to come and see Camp Artaban and its surroundings on Gambier Island. The price includes the return boat trip between Horseshoe Bay and Camp Artaban. We will all have a lovely day at camp. A light dinner is on us!

Visitors' Day is Thursday, August 9 in 2012 during our Fine Arts and Sailing Coed sessions. You will be able to attend the musical that campers have been preparing all week.

To register, please download a Visitors' Day Registration form once available. We will meet at Horseshoe Bay Government Wharf at 12 noon and you will be back by about 7:30 pm the same day.

The Vibe

Please click here for Vibe dates and details. Come join us monthly at Holy Trinity Church, located in South Granville at 12th and Hemlock (one block east of Granville Steet) in Vancouver for a time of singing a socializing. We meet upstairs in the main sanctuary. The service is modelled after our chapel services at camp for that year-round fix of camp. The music is the same style, with many of the same songs, and we even have a speaker each month. The Vibe is open to all so please mark the dates on your calendar and come on out. We generally meet on the second Sunday of each month, but dates are subject to change. If you have any questions, please e-mail Chris Walks at christopher.walks@gmail.com .

Cream Tea

This event is open to all and is geared towards our more senior supporters. We will meet at St. Augustine's Church on Hudson Street in Vancouver from 1:30 to 3:30pm, date TBD. We will have lots of goodies available with prizes, a bake sale, etc. The cost for this event is $5 per person.

Annual General Meeting

As an incorporated non-profit society, Camp Artaban Society holds a general meeting each calendar year and not longer than 15 months apart. All members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Annual reports are made available to all members and year-end financial statements will be available to members at the meeting or in advance by request. Please contact our office if you interested in becoming a member of the Camp Artaban Society. The next annual general meeting will be held at 10:00am, date TBD, usually at St. Catherine's Church, 1058 Ridgewood Drive, North Vancouver.

Camp Artaban Sunday

For Artaban Sunday bulletins, please click on the appropriate links for either the letter sized bulletin (8 1/2 x 11) or legal sized bulletin (8 1/2 x 14) when they are available.

Churches around the Diocese celebrate Artaban and talk about how they can be involved with this outreach to children, youth and families.
