Capital Campaign
For the past 85 years, Camp Artaban has provided a unique camping experience for thousands of children, youth, adults and families. It has been a longstanding dream of the Camp Artaban community to replace the existing dining hall with a new facility.
Our vision is to build on Camp Artaban’s significant history with the construction of a Camp Centre that will allow us to continue to provide campers with the unique opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of activities; acquire leadership skills; develop life long relationships; and discover their worth, while encountering God’s nature in the beauty of Gambier Island.
The Camp Centre will continue to serve as the hub of activity, a place to congregate for worship, assemblies, meetings, activities and entertainment. The design allows for cost-effective expansion as the camp grows and addresses urgent issues such as public comfort and safety, respect for the environment and the need for an inviting multi-purpose space.
The Capital Campaign is our opportunity to build for the future while honouring the legacy of the camp’s original leaders. There are many different ways to support this important project. We invite you to contact our Campaign Office and visit our site again soon for updated information.
